Daily Maintenance Tips: Operation And Maintenance Guide For Extending The Service Life Of High-speed Cutter.
High speed slitting machine is a kind of high precision core equipment in the coil processing industry, operating continuously at high speed for a long time. Core parts such as roller shafts, blade, transmission systems and tension systems are prone to wear and tear, dust accumulation and fatigue aging. A lot of factory equipment decreased accuracy, frequent malfunctions, early obsolescence, capacity decline, and so on, not because of quality of the equipment itself, but because the daily transportation dimension is not in place, operation irregularities caused. The daily maintenance of science and system can not only significantly reduce the probability of slitting machine malfunction and stabilize the quality of cutting machine, but also effectively prolong the service life of the equipment and reduce the replacement and maintenance cost of the equipment, which is a key measure for enterprises to reduce the cost, improve efficiency and stabilize mass production.
Daily cleaning maintenance is the foundation of long-term stable operation of equipment and the most basic and neglected operation maintenance link. The high-speed slitting machine for long-term processing of film, paper, non-woven fabric and so on, in the production process will produce a large amount of paper powder, crumbs, dust and binder residue. These impurities can easily accumulate on roller shaft surfaces, blade group gap, transmission chain and sensor position. Dust and goo accumulated on the roller shaft can cause the roll material to slip, deviate and wrinkle during transportation. Residual impurities in the blade assembly can affect cutting accuracy, resulting in burrs and uneven incisions. Sensors are blocked, leading to tension failure and correction failure failures. Therefore, it is necessary to shut down the machine and cut off the power supply after the end of daily production. Clean equipment countertops, roller shaft, blade group and sensor components with a dust-free cloth to maintain the equipment clean and prevent impurities from accumulating.
Regular maintenance of blade system directly determines cutting accuracy and equipment wear rate. Cutting tool is the core precision component of the cutter, long-term high-speed cutting will lead to blade passivation, slight indentation, uneven wear. In the course of daily use and maintenance, check the sharpness and bite gap of the circular knife and the base knife, clean up the material debris in the knife groove in time, and polish or replace the tool in time if it is found to be blunt, so as not to strain the material with the blunt knife, causing film breakage and burr, and reduce overload and wear on the tool. In addition, tool mounting requires regular calibration of position to ensure tool symmetry and stability, prevent equipment jitters and component wear due to loosening and deflection, and extend tool and machine life in detail.
The roller shaft is the power core of equipment operation and requires to be lubricated and calibration maintenance regularly. The motor, transmission belt, bearing, chain and other moving parts of high-speed cutter are prone to dryness, abrasion, belt looseness and bearing blockage in long-term high-speed operation. Factories need to establish a fixed lubrication cycle and periodically add specialized lubricant to bearings and transmission chains to avoid rapid aging and damage to components due to dry friction. At the same time, check the airtight of transmission belt once a week, adjust the tension in time, replace the aging and deformed belt, and ensure that the transmission is smooth and vibration free. Periodically calibrate the parallelism and smoothness of each roller to avoid increasing offset and wear of the roller and to ensure the steady operation of the equipment.
The maintenance of electrical and tension control systems is the key to prevent equipment failures. Constant tension system, servo motor, correction sensor, numerical control electronic CNC electronic control system, etc., are all precise electrical components, which are most susceptible to dust, moisture and unstable voltage. In daily production, the control box should be kept dry and dust-free, so as to avoid dust getting into the the circuit board causing short circuit and signal failures; check periodically whether the circuit joints is loose or aging, and prevent parameter drift and equipment shutdown due to poor contact. At the same time, it is forbidden to open and stop frequently, overload and run at high speed, so as to avoid long-term overload of electrical components, effectively protect the accuracy and stability of electronic control system, and prevent premature aging and malfunction of precision electrical components.
Standardized operation and periodic maintenance are the core guarantees for prolonging the service life of equipment. A lot of equipment damages is due to irregularities. In the production process, it is forbidden to process materials that are too wide, too thick or too heavy. Hard foreign objects are strictly prohibited from entering the tool group area to avoid equipment damage. Empty test should be carried out before daily operation to check whether the equipment is running smoothly, the tension is normal and the cutting is accurate. After confirmation, mass production can begin. At the same time, a weekly, monthly and annual inspection systems will be set up to comprehensively inspect the accuracy, wear and tear, electrical performance and lubrication status equipment, so as to detect potential faults in advance, maintain and repair them early and prevent minor faults from accumulating into major faults.
In general, the service life and operation stability of high-speed slitting machines depend on the accuracy of daily operation and maintenance. Clean dust removal, tool maintenance, transmission lubrication, electrical protection, standard operation, regular maintenance of the six major maintenance systems, can reduce the overall wear and tear of equipment, avoid potential failure, and maintain long-term high precision and stable operation of equipment. Doing a good job of daily operation can not only stabilize cutting quality, improve production efficiency and reduce failure rate, but also significantly prolong the service life of the equipment, reduce the investment cost of the equipment, and provide a solid guarantee for long-term stable mass production of coil production lines.
