Secondly, knives are a problem. The edge of the circular blade may become blunt, with gaps, or too many or offset bite gaps. When cutting, instead of cutting the material cleanly, it will constantly pull and scratch the coil, eventually causing the membrane to break. In addition, uneven roll thickness, joint bulge, surface impurities, adhesive and dust accumulation on the surface of the roller shaft surface, abnormal frictional resistance, etc., can also cause the film to break suddenly when cutting at high speed.

Material deviation is a common high frequency problem in slitting operation. It is mainly manifested in eccentricity of coil conveying, uneven end surface and dislocation of winding. The core reason is uneven force of material transportation and equipment alignment deviation. Periodically calibrate the levelness and parallelism of the equipment rollers to avoid material displacement due to the tilt of the drum. Adjust tool mounting position to ensure that the tool group is symmetrically centered and the cutting force is evenly distributed. At the same time, the tension parameters winding and unwinding are optimized to ensure that the tension on the left and right sides of winding is the same, the transportation is smooth and unbiased, and the material deviation in high-speed operation is completely solved, so that the winding end is smooth and standardized.
Dimensional error is the main fault which affects the precision of finished products. It mainly manifests that the cutting width is not uniform and the size deviation is too large, which often occurs in high speed mass production and narrow cutting conditions. The core causes of failure can be divided into two categories: parameter failure and hardware failure. The first is manual distance adjustment error, numerical control parameter setting error or parameter drift in high-speed operation; the second is transmission system wear, servo positioning is not accurate, the tool holder is loose and so on causes the cutting spacing is small. In addition, material stretching deformation and tensile instability of the material will also lead to fluctuations in the size of the finished product and substandard accuracy.
Solving size errors requires precise positioning and itemization. Strict control of cutting parameters before production, use the CNC system to accurately adjust the cutting distance, complete the cutting test inspection, confirm the correct size before mass production. Periodically inspect the fixed structure of transmission belt, servo motor and tool holder, tighten loose parts, replace aging and worn transmission components, and ensure accurate positioning of the equipment in use. At the same time, stabilizes the whole machine tension system, avoids the material stretching deformation to cause the dimension deviation.
